Dalian YSK
Extraction Tanks
YSK was established in 1959 to make effective use of fish broth. Soon afterwards,
it changed its main field of operations to the manufacture of extract seasonings,
and expanded it to include natural seasonings and dried foods.
In and after 1980, YSK started full-scale development and marketing of functional ingredients,
including chitin/chitosan refined from crab shells, which served as a starting point to produce
chitin oligosaccharide and N-acetylglucosamine.
With the use of such technology, YSK has developed new functional ingredients such as marine-derived anserine,
collagen, calcium and fucoidan.
In 2001, YSK was listed in the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange. In 2002, it received ISO9001 certification,
the internationally recognized standard for the quality management of businesses, and has continually made efforts to
improve the level of quality and customer satisfaction.
YSK is now the leading company in the field of natural seasonings derived from marine organisms.
It also enjoys a high reputation for the development and manufacture of health/beauty functional products.
Moving forward, YSK will continue in its endeavors to become an R&D oriented enterprise.
In 1992, we were listed on the Second Section of the Nagoya Stock Exchange, and, in 2001, on the first sections of both the Tokyo and Nagoya
Stock Exchanges. We are now listed only on the first sections of the Tokyo Stock Exchanges. We are now a leading manufacturer of natural
seasonings produced from marine resources, and are also highly regarded as a researcher and manufacturer of functional food ingredients
relating to health and beauty.
We are committed to expanding our business on the power of our strong R&D base.
